What is the Difference Between Changing and Acceptance
The first thing that we want to talk about is acceptance. These things go in line with one another as accepting oneself pushes a person to make a change. Putting into consideration that some health problems cannot be changed but you will just need to accept and move on with your life. Apart from that we also have other conditions that cannot be helped by acceptance but it requires the building of new habits that can make them live a healthier life.
There is a big difference between a person who is born without any defects as they will enjoy life more than the people who have accepted their conditions and moved on with their lives. By engaging in a good diet, they are always full of pride, and they enjoy life to the fullest. Acceptance does not necessarily mean cordoning, and you should not lose hope since there are very many levels of acceptance that can see you through. There is nothing more good than seeing yourself truly how you are and allowing yourself to change from one point to another. Rather than pretending that nothing is wrong with you, and you are simply following a self-help routine out of duty.
Changing is quite different from acceptance as it will require you to adapt, improvise and deal with issues in our lives plus the challenges that come with them. You find that for something to grow well there must be some form of external stress which acts as a pulling factor. You don’t need strength or intelligence to succeed, but the important thing is that you adapt to the situation and you will go well. Just like acceptance is not in line with changing as one is not bringing the other.
Additionally, you should make sure that you accept your situation as it will play a major role in the goal setting. For example when you want to change how you look, healthy diet, regular exercises, body sculpting are some of the stuff which can help you achieve your objectives. But if you are in your comfort zone you will not even realize that making a change can help you look great. So, if you want to go well in this life, you should be moving instead of stagnating at one point.
When you will be able to accept yourself, you will reap a lot. For one after accepting yourself is when you will get the chance to know what change you would like to make. some of the things that can help you in making such hard decisions are the hobbies, interests, and potential.
